What is EndoFakülte?

EndoFakülte is a student community platform we aim to establish within universities to raise awareness about endometriosis and adenomyosis. It brings together students from various fields such as medicine, health sciences, engineering, social sciences, law, and communication to increase awareness about these common yet under-recognized diseases.

Endometriosis and adenomyosis are significant health issues that deeply impact individuals' quality of life, education, workforce participation, and psychosocial well-being, much like other well-known diseases such as breast cancer. EndoFakülte provides a platform for addressing not only the medical aspects but also the social, psychological, and societal dimensions of these diseases.

What Do We Aim to Achieve with EndoFakülte?

The primary goal of EndoFakülte is to increase awareness about endometriosis and adenomyosis among university students, while also providing opportunities for students to develop themselves within a scientific community.

• Participating in scientific studies and projects related to endometriosis and adenomyosis.
• Direct communication with academic experts, professors, and clinicians.
• Playing an active role in scientific meetings, events, and awareness campaigns organized by the association.
• Contributing to their CVs with academic and social efforts.
• Developing social skills such as communication, teamwork, organization, and taking responsibility.

Contribution of EndoFakülte to the Association

• Increases the visibility of under-recognized but impactful diseases like endometriosis and adenomyosis.
• Promotes awareness through the dynamic, young segment of society.
• Creates a sustainable awareness network that brings together scientific production and societal impact.

Our goal is to increase awareness about endometriosis and adenomyosis among university students, while also supporting their development as productive and active individuals engaged with scientific thought.

Behavioral and Ethical Principles

Members of EndoFakülte agree to behave according to the following principles, being aware that they represent the Endometriosis and Adenomyosis Association and their respective universities:

• Commitment to scientific integrity, transparency, and ethical values.
• Respectful, inclusive, and non-discriminatory communication style.
• Respect for societal sensitivities, patient rights, and privacy.
• Adherence to general moral principles in academic and social environments.
• Avoidance of sharing unscientific information that could lead to misinformation.
• Responsibility for representing the association and EndoFakülte activities in a responsible manner.

Requirements for Founding Membership

• Must be at least in the third year (Semester 3) of university.
• Must be an active student.
• Must take responsibility for managing the official processes of the club within the university.

Application Requirements

• Updated CV (resume)
• Short motivation letter
• Current student transcript
• Annual activity plan including planned activities for after the establishment of the club.
