EndoFaculty
What Is EndoFaculty?
EndoFaculty is a student community initiative that we aim to establish within faculties and campuses through university students under the umbrella of the Endometriosis and Adenomyosis Association. This community aims to bring together university students from medicine, health sciences, engineering, social sciences, law, communication, and all other disciplines to raise awareness about diseases such as endometriosis and adenomyosis, which are common yet still not sufficiently recognized.
Endometriosis and adenomyosis are significant health conditions that, much like widely recognized diseases such as breast cancer, deeply affect individuals’ quality of life, education, workforce participation, and psychosocial well-being. EndoFaculty is an awareness and engagement platform that allows these diseases to be addressed not only from a medical perspective, but also through their social, psychological, and societal dimensions.
What Do We Aim to Achieve with EndoFaculty?
The main goal of EndoFaculty is to raise awareness of endometriosis and adenomyosis among university students while also enabling them to develop themselves within a scientific community.
- To participate in scientific studies and projects conducted in the field of endometriosis and adenomyosis.
- To have the opportunity to communicate directly with expert academics, professors, and clinicians in the field.
- To take an active role in scientific meetings, events, and awareness activities organized within the association.
- To contribute academically and socially to their CVs through the work they carry out.
- To gain the opportunity to develop social skills such as communication, teamwork, organization, and taking responsibility.
EndoFaculty’s Contribution to the Association
- It increases the visibility of diseases such as endometriosis and adenomyosis, which are not widely known but have serious effects.
- It helps spread awareness through the young and dynamic segment of society.
- It creates a sustainable awareness network that brings together scientific production and social impact under one roof.
Our aim with this initiative is to increase awareness of endometriosis and adenomyosis among university students while also supporting their development as productive and active individuals who engage with scientific thinking.
