We organized the webinar “Adenomyosis: An Update 2021” as Turkish Society of Endometriosis and Adenomyosis. Stefano Guerriero, MD (Italy) , Erkut Attar, MD (Turkey) and Miklos Koppan, MD (Hungary) shared their experiences with their presentations in this webinar moderated by Yücel Karaman, MD and Tolga Karacan, MD. We tried to answer many questions with case presentations and interactive discussion sessions. We’d like to thank our dear attendees for their intense interest .
The 6th EMEL Conference on Endometriosis and Uterus Pathologies will be held in Dubai on 21-22 January 2021. The founding president of our society, the former president of the European Endometriosis League, and still a board member of the European Endometriosis League Prof. Engin Oral, MD will contribute as a moderator and speaker at the conference. Our society will continue the webinar series with the webinar on “Pelvic Pain: 2021 An Update” on the evening of March 30, 2021. In the webinar moderated by Taner Usta, MD and Fatih Durmuşoğlu, MD, Engin Oral, MD, Ghassan Lotfi, MD and Ahmet Kale (Hungary), MD will share their experiences with us. We had our last webinar of the year on 22nd of December 2020. We discussed “Endometriosis and Complementary/Functional Medicine in Literature: Evidence Based Approach” with the company of the President of Neural Therapy Association Hüseyin Nazlıkul, MD and the President of Academy of Functional Medicine Mustafa Aksoy, MD. On the evening of November 24th, 2020, we successfully held the webinar organized by the Endometriosis and Adenomyosis Society. The webinar was moderated by Ahmet Kale, MD and Hale Göksever Çelik, MD. In the webinar Ertan Sarıdoğan, MD from England and Alysson Zanatta, MD from Brazil made presentations on “How should be the diagnosis, medical and surgical treatment of recurrent endometriosis?”. Regarding Covid 19 precautions where staying home has utmost importance, we as Turkish Endometriosis and Adenomyosis Society were able to organize the XII. EndoAkademi Webinar successfully. In this meeting which received a respectable number of attendants amongst our colleagues, Antonio Simone Laganà from Italy presented “Approach to challenging endometriosis cases”; while our respected professors talked about “Pain and Endometriosis” and “Infertlility and Endometriosis”. In the end, our professors answered the questions of participants at the panel where controversial topics on endometriosis were discussed.
During these challenging times we would like to thank our participants and professors who didn’t give up on science. Our colleagues who couldn’t attend the live stream can reach the XII.
